Medhu Vada

Ingredients:
Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu) - 2 glass
Onion(big) - 1 no
(cut into small pieces)
Salt - As reqd
Green chillies - 2 nos
(cut into small pieces)
Pepper - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - A few
(cut into small pieces)
Ginger - 1" piece
(cut into small pieces)
Soda powder - 1/4 tsp

Preparation:
Soak the dal in water for some time.
Grind it with 1/4 cup of water.
It would be better if u don`t add water.
Add salt and grind again.
Add the rest of the ingredients to this ground dal and mix well.
Pat hands with water.
Make balls off the paste and make patties.
Make a hole in between the patties.
Deep fry them in oil till golden brown in colour.
Serve with chutney or sambhar.
